Jenna Mecca
Interior Designer
Jenna has always been drawn to spaces that breathe—alive with light and texture, yet quietly serene—places where every choice supports how we live and feel. This curiosity led her to interior design, where she explores how intentional decisions in color, material, and layout can transform everyday environments into homes that nurture and inspire. Every project is a collaboration, a chance to create a space that feels elevated without ever losing its soul.
Currently, Jenna is pursuing her degree in interior design, deepening both her technical knowledge and creative perspective. She approaches every space with intention, blending clean modern lines, natural textures, and sustainably sourced materials that feel as thoughtful as they look, crafting environments that are functional, harmonious, and deeply personal.
Outside of design, Jenna draws inspiration from the world around her—wandering local trails with her camera, experimenting with plant-based recipes, and discovering quiet corners of new cities. These moments of curiosity and calm feed her work, helping her shape homes that feel like quiet, lived-in sanctuaries where people can simply be themselves, fully and comfortably.
Derek Mecca
Photographer
Derek sees a room the way most people see a landscape — in layers of light, shadow, and quiet atmosphere. A professional photographer with a background in architectural and interior work, he brings the same unhurried eye to a finished space that he brings to the natural world: patient, considered, and attuned to the details that make a place feel alive.
His work doesn't document a room. It reveals it.
As the visual partner behind Mecca Haus, Derek ensures every completed project is photographed with the same intention it was designed — so the space reads as beautifully in a listing as it does in person.
That sensibility extends well beyond the lens. On any given weekend, he's just as likely to be mid-trail, somewhere between a ridgeline and a good view, or in the kitchen working through a new vegan recipe with the same quiet curiosity he brings to his craft. Shared travels to new cities have sharpened both his eye and his appreciation for the way different spaces — a narrow street, a sun-filled café, an unexpected courtyard — shape how people feel inside them.
